damn, i'm goin to get my new max se ae in 7 days and now i'm hearing a "definate" 2002 max engine boost....this f**king sux as*. but i don't want to wait another year to buy my max, i want the pleasure of driving it now, and i think leasing is a waste of money....i'll definately still buy my new max but it really sux to hear that the 2002 max will greatly out perform my brand new max 2001 se ae... >:-0

I feel the same way. I've wanted to own a Max for years. I finally get the nicest one they offered and what happens, they make it obsolete. I want to have the best Max available. My dream car was a BMW 540i w/ a six speed. To much $$$ though. So I get the next best and most powerful sedan out there for the money all to find out that new Max will have more of what I wanted w/ a SIX SPEED!!! I'll just have to wait and see. Now I'm thinking of not doin any mods so I can trade for the new MAX. If anyone knows where I can see an article/picture of this new 2003 Max please let me know.

No articles/pics yet. Nissan has been concentrating on the new Sentra SER, 350 ZX, Q45, Xterra SC (Hellz Yeah, I want one of these!), and the new ALtima. The max doesnt come until later.
