When are we gonna get.....

1. A short throw shifter for the 3.5 six speed
2. A high performance clutch, having driven a few sports cars i have realized how much i hate the stock clutch feel, to me it seems like there is no clutch feedback at all, this is compared to a couple cobras i have driven as well as a 350 Z and some other manual cars......

Anyway these are two things i really want.... just wondering if anyone has any info, also is there any adjustability in the stock clutch, to make it stiffer feeling?

1) I talked to B&M racing yesterday and they said it should be out soon. Expected release is mid-April. Who knowws if this is true or they're just blowing smoke up my you know what.

2) Centerforce said they're in the works of coming out with one soon.

As for the adjusting the stock clutch, the answer is no. I've talked to many people about this including Dave B. and they all say there's no way to adjust it.

1) Well... B&M had a problem with the ones for the Sentras and Altimas with the linkage. We were originally supposed to have ours in January, but because of the problems they had, they pushed back our development until they fixed the other ones. It appears that they have fixed the problems, so now they should be back on track for getting to us. Like it was posted above, the EARLIEST estimated delivery is mid-to-late April, and this is assuming that they don't have any problems during development/production.

2) While I was recently having my tranny replaced for locking up in certain gears, I was asked (by the dealer) if I wanted to install any aftermarket clutch or flywheel. Of course, they weren't available. But during that time, I called around to find out what the deal was. ACT said that they were NOT in the process of making a clutch for us. They did not hint to the fact that they were even thinking about it either. They actually said that "they didn't know that there was a market for it" for the Maxima.

So I called Centerforce. They said that they were in the process of designing one, but that it still hasn't been built or tested. So I'm sure that it's coming, but they didn't have an expected release date as of about 3 weeks ago.

3) BTW - FYI - JWT makes a lightened flywheel now!!! - http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/cus...asp?PartID=433
