E-Brake Handle Replacement
anyone looked into this? i haven't seen anything on 5th gens...i was thinking about it but since it is an oval shape, a round handle would look kinda bad and stick out, but if you were to get a black leather shift boot and cover up all of the ebrake except for the handle, it might look pretty good...i'm figuring this can't be done since nobody to my knowledge on a 5th gen has done it so far...let me know if i can be, though

alright, thats weird...mingo told me that he just basically stuffed the leather boot in there...i can handle that...i want to change the ebrake handle, you know, like changing a shift ****...i want to get a carbon fiber one or something like that
Not really related to the question, but out of curiosity....
When the e-brake is pulled, does anyone else chronically hit their knee on it when getting into the car...
Or am I just weird that way???
Believe it or not, this is one of my biggest gripes with the car... (that's a good thing :-)

i think u gotta replace the whole ebrake assembly.. or at least that's what i almost did. i tried twisting the sucker but it dont' come loose.. i was gonna swap the fifth gen ebrake with the fourth but instead i got lazy and just bought a 3000cc cefiro shift boot which doesn't exactly fit all that well on our fifth gen.. and i never got around sewing in a metal bracket so i could mount it better.
