Installed DDE's and cleared out HIDS today :)

Well, time finally came around, I installed the DDEs and cleared out my hids while I had them opened. I just wanna give props to matt for making these and housecor for his beautiful website with all the how-tos. I did run into a minor problem that I really didn't get a chance to take a picture of. As I was messing around with the one I already had opened, my dumbass friend was going to try to "help" me. He set my housing in the oven WITHOUT a cookie/baking sheet, LENS DOWN! The **** melted a little of my housing But tis okay, he's going to get me another housing. Here are the pics.. Oh yea, is there a way to get just the lenses? Like no housing or anything? thanks guys...

And yes, the paint chip is getting painted under warranty.

that's what has me a little nervous about doing it. i had to replace my hid on one side dude to a run in with a deer. i don't think i could live with myself if i had to fork out $800 of my own money if i messed one up. I could always rip them out of the car and say they were stolen. j/k

which write up did you use for the install?

Looks very nice. If Nissan doesn't get your bumper painted. Just put a europlate in front of it. HEHE. JK. It's for the X5.
