rear pads for 2k2-2k3
I have been looking for ceramic rear pads for my Powerslot rotors due to the fact that metal pads make way too much noise for my liking but no one seems to have applications for the 2k2-2k3 maxima yet it seems they have them for the 2k-2k1 maximas
my question is, aren't our rears the same as the 2k-2k1 maximas??? so if this is the case can I get away with rear pads from a 2k-2k1 maxima??
thanx for your responses

I hate to say it, but you need to do a search. I posted on this very subject last week.
Hell with it, check this link to the very parts I used (and am very happy with, I might add)...

ceramics aren't in stock.....so are the 2k1-2k rotors in the rear the same as ours???thats what I wanna know
It only takes a day to get them in. Just go to a store and order them. I had to do that as well...
By the way, that's for my zipcode, so try changing it to yours and see if they are in stock near you. And from what I've seen, the part #'s differ (even though I thought they were supposed to be the same).
EDIT--> They part numbers do not cross reference. Here's the link for 2001 rear pads.

And you do know that you could have done this yourself by just changing the year of the vehicle in the parts search engine...

Do you have Advance Auto Parts up there? That's where the store is for. Also, you could order them online...
And since the part #'s do not cross, I would have to say no, they do not fit. Easiest way would be to just compare pads between the two models...

The little shopping cart on the right hand side of the item...just click on that, and then click on check out. You're going to have to set up and account with them, but it doesn't take long at all. Just follow the on screen instructions and you'll be good to go.
And if you've never change the rear pads, you don't have to take off the bracket that actually holds the pads. You'll have to disconnect the parking brake on both sides, remove the pistons and such, turn the pistons clockwise to get them to recess back into the caliper, and then just install the pads and reinstall the piston/caliper assembly. Don't forget to keep the lid of brake fluid reservoir open while pushing the piston back in. Then close the lid of the reservoir, reinstall the wheels/tires, start the car, and pump the brakes a few times until you get the solid feel back in the pedal. After that, you're done. take her for a spin.
Hmmm, now I understand what you're saying...
No need to yell, though. Try some other local zip codes, or just use mine (30052)...then see if it will let you order them. If not, then you most likely won't be able to get them...
