19's Installed today

Just got my 19's on today, the ride is pretty rough but its what I expected. Only complaint is the wheel hop is like 10X worse than before. Just the slightest bit of spin and the front starts slamming. Oh well, overall I'm very pleased with the look and it really sticks to the road. I have a few pics on my page if anybody wants to check them out, but they are at night and not too good. I should have some daytime pics tomorrow if it doesnt end up snowing all day.

I just washed the car and we all know how our rotors get when they're wet, but you're right stock rotors with 19's looks pretty

Unfortunately funds won't allow me to upgrade breaks for awhile, and I have a few other plans first

Lookin good! But the jury is out on these till I see them shined up.

Regarding the wheel hop - I've heard some say stiffer struts/springs help alleviate this. From my experience thus far, this is true. I've had no wheel hop issues since I installed my progress/illumina combo.

Also, maybe some zinc-plated rotors would look a little better behind those....I've got them on my fronts, will be upgrading on my rears before I put these wheels on - they still will look small, but at least they wont be an eyesore to look at...

Hopefully I'll be putting on Tein-H/Illumina within the next couple months so it actually looks like a car. After that I'm going to upgrade the pads and rotors to take away that eye soar in there

With that much open wheel space the stock rotors look dinky. I'm not feelin' it, but its a different look.

Stiffer springs, better struts will help. From there get the PR urethane motor mounts. I still have a little, but it's nothing compared to what I had before.

Looks good.
Hey, if you want bigger rotors, get Matt93SE's "BlehmCo" big brake kit. For about $300 you can put the 12" rotors from a 2k4 maxima on your can with OEM calipers...the 5th gen rotors are like 10.4 inches....

Check it out in the "group deals" forum under the "BlehmCo BBK" listing

I just ordered mine!

irish44j- Thanks for the info I'll have to look into that, but suspension and motor mounts are first on the agenda. Anyway if you guys are interested I'm putting up some daytime pics so you can actually see what it looks like.

So kloogy you got some rotors from maxxed up and got two of the same side, well not as bad as the wheels I bought from him and one of em doesnt match the color of the others. I hope he can do a trade because it looks out of place on my car.
