Nismo Intake?
I was on altimas.net searching up on AEM Intakes for the 3.5l engine and wanted to know if we could put that on our 02/03 Maximas?
While I was searching I came across the Nismo Intake. I didn't know it was available for the 3.5l altima. Is it available for us 5.5 genners too?

the price competes with the injen rd series intake...and i would personally like to have the Nismo over the Injen
So the reseller does list the product as specifically for the Altima. http://www.leeauto.com/parts/nismoaltima.html
Does anybody want to try and fit it on their Max? IIRC, the IM of the Altima and Maxima seem to go in the same direction.

I wouldn't go as far as putting Neuspeed stickers on a Nissan car. So by what you are basically saying is people who drives Maxima cannot wear shirts with NISMO logos or use a keychain that says NISMO if they don't have a car "Nismo" has performance parts for? Having a Stillen battery tie down is perfectly fine if the car doesn't have any Stillen parts in it. Hey, Maybe the guy doesn't like everything else Stillen offers, just likes the Battery tie down....anything wrong with that?
BTW, if you search around you will find my NISMO fuel cap (OEM btw, paid almost 50 bucks for it) and the radiator cap (Also OEM) is made to fit ALL Nissan cars. Not some cheap imitation on ebay or just a sticker.......I don't know what point you are trying to make, maybe you are thinking I'm "ricey" for having Nismo fuel cap and radiator cap.....I dunno where you are getting at but for me I think it looks cool.

lol I think he means that the Nismo oil cap doesn't hold the oil in any better than the OEM one...
that said, I have no problem with this kind of stuff....there's nothing wrong with doing things to your car just to make it look better. My OEM gear shift boot worked just fine, but I still replaced it with a leather one....
as long as you don't go overboard by having a bunch of little logo crap all over the place and no real mods, it's all copacetic.

I have an Otto FSTB and a Southwestautoworks battery tie down and Addco RSB.... So is my max a "riced out max" ?
A stillen or nismo FSTB is no more of a performance strut tower brace than any other ones... especially for a sentra ser or 350z... this goes for the infiniti siblings...
Simply put, why do we have to have everything stealin or nismo just to have one stealin or nismo item whether it be accessory or performancewise...
Just because they don't make a nismo item for our maximas doesn't mean we can't put them on...
Some people, although it is their own opinions, seem to have no logic at all or seem to use reverse logic....
The things I wouln't do are put Mugen, Spoon, APC, Ralliart, TRD on my max...
Nor would I put stuff like, Type S, Type R, or Spec-V on my Max....
Kooster, I think what you're really saying is that on the back window, your master plan is to have two stickers:
- Calvin p1ssing on an Acura/Honda/toyota logo
and, of course

From what Ive read , as far as Nismo mods on 350Z....headers, exhaust, Cams, Intake etc.......I wouldn't waste my money on that crap !

I'm gonna have to side with Soonerfan. If the fact that the Nismo products you bought are better than the OEM and that is the reason you purchased them, that is great for you. I'm sure that when you are driving you're saying something like, "Boy, I'm sure glad I have a radiator cap that's rated 5.6 lbs greater than OEM." That would definitely make me sleep easier at night.

I have a feeling that if any of these caps didn't have the decals and labels, you wouldn't be praising how much you like them and you probably wouldn't have paid the price too. Stickers sell, this cannot be denied.
