Man they talk about taillights and crap in that description... including this "FEATURES AN INTEGRATED LIGHT SYSTEM, COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR EXISTING 98-02 S10, SETUP-WIRING INCLUDED."

S10??????? What do our headlights have anything to do with an S10.. Whoever wrote that description was on crack.

Wouldnt the 2k-2k1 guys have to rewire something because its separate high and low on those because the 2k-2k1's use H4 bulbs and you would def have to rewire for separate blinker and running light? BTW those look pretty ghetto imo and they are probably pretty cheap quality, i wonder how the light output is on em. I like my painted/cleared/dded 2k2-2k3 headlights much better even though they arent projector.....yet

Man the angel eyes are almost crap compared to the ones Umnitza provides. You can see the bulb is at the bottom of the ring and doesnt even stay lit evenly towards the top.

They are cheap. I am sure on closer inspection all the short cuts in the material/build quality will surface. That said, they look nice, just need a few revisions.

Second, the projectors are halogen ones. Woe is to anyone who tries to stick a D2S bulb in there...

Glad someone is actually making these. I hope they make a revised version soon.

The halos do look like crap but you can probably mount your umnitza ones on if you like. Double halos!! Hopefully they come out with one for HID's and with higher build quality. I'd be all over this.

$258 not bad instead of getting 2k2 headlamps for $500 a piece....

plus if i got those i would open them up & black out the whole thing....i dont like that chrome look affect in headlights.

You might be able to replace that halogen projector with an xenon projector fairly easily....

I think i'm going to pick a pair of these up and do just as scmaxima2k suggested, simply replace the projector with a HID model. Plus while its open get rid of those worthless angel eyes. I'm pumped to see that there is now another option in lighting for the 5th Gen. The auction is dumb...the guy has no idea what hes selling. The way I see it we need to get the follow questions answered:

Which bumper does it fit 00-01 or 02-03
Is the projector ment for a D2R bulb or some other halogen one?
If it fits the 00-01 then how do you wire the thing up?
If it fits the 02-03 and its not a HID projector what bulbs do you use?

Get those questions answered and start a GD for $220 shipped and I'm in.

Personally Im not really a fan of them. I had projectors on my honda and the low beam was extremely direct to the road. Maybe if you found a way to put a HID in there it might help the situation but as far as using regular bulbs it wouldnt be bright enough. Id rather stick to my stock lights with the HID kit in them. It look like lights you would put in a Honda thats why I had them in mine, I wouldnt put those in my max. Just my opinion.......

It absolutely shocks me that this is the first the forum has heard of these. You'd think the developer would've contacted us to gauge interest and tried to produce some hype. Nonehtheless, looks like another cool option for '00-'01 owners.

hamy... do it up, I should be done with mine within the next 3 weeks (fingers crossed)... You know from the HID forum that replacing that with a D2S projector wouldn't be very hard at all. I'd recomend it to ya!

I dont think this guy knows what hes selling. I looks like its made for OEM D2r hid capsules when we know D2s is what projectors work with. Thats just a minor issue that can be corrected, Igor rigged up his D2s capsules to fit in the OEM housings and im sure it could be done with these as well.

As for the wiring on the 00-01, well if its diff from the 2k2-2k3 assembly, we might have a problem. Yeah we could figure it out, but it might take some time to mess with wires to get it right.

Which bumper, they are interchangable. 00-01, 02-03 have the same thing. I have 2k2 hids on my 01 and the only thing I had to do was replace the clips so its not a big deal.

Projectors=D2s
Burner(oem)=D2r

I posted this on Max-World a while ago. LOOKS VERY INTERESTING esp. to the fact the stock HIDs are stolen often.

They don't look all that great...the only thing I like is the projector. Wonder if that could be fitted into the stock 02-03 light...
