its all good, i was simply pointing it out so ya'll can learn from my mistakes rather than make them yourselves... and btw, the projector barely fit in the housing... its not deep into the reflector where the beam can bounce around and create reflections... you can get better pics by checkin out the link below...

Actually, there is some glare caused by the housing itself. The little triangle area between the high-beam & projectors does a real good job of catching the light then reflecting in it to the fron again. Its not apperent in the pics, but if you saw it in person your'd understand. Its not a horrible glare issue, but a chrome housing is gonna reflect light no matter what.

after reading through this long thread, I wasn't sure of a few things.

1. Does the projector headlight have a wiring harness?
2. Is it just plug-n-play for the 2k or is some modification required?

To answer your question, it's direct plug-n-play. The projectors are already wired up for your factory harness. Most of the projectors sold come with all the bulbs necessary for the headlights. The only modification necessary is to wire up the angel eyes. These projectors were manufactured to fit the 2K-2K1's, but they will still fit the 2K2's-2K3's but will leave a slight gap in fitment as compared to the 2K-2K1's. The bumpers between the two are slightly shaped differently.

If I were you, I would get my insurance company to replace the headlights. Then I would sell it on eBay. Buy a new pair of projector headlights, and retrofit them with HID projectors.

Not too wise IMO. You can get your insurance company to replace them, fine. You pay the deductable, then you go through the pain of retro-fitting projector HID's into these projector housings which is still going to run you atleast $700+ then you add in your insurance deductable so if your lucky you'll be dumping around 800ish...now tell me this, if you drive a max in NY, what are the chances they wont get stolen AGAIN... not good if you ask me. So dont bother because you'll be out a minimum 800ish (depends on your insurance) plus you'll have to go through the hassle of getting the headlights all over again. Plus you lose the time you put into retrofit. Just something to think about.

Doesnt matter, your still in the relative area. Id just get a set of these light (the will probably get stolen as well, might as well face the fact ) or a set of 2001 AE headlights as many have done.

Damn...you're gonna' have to do a bit of modding to get those projectors in. Look further back in the thread, I think PhxBlue posted a tutorial -- I'm not sure.

I dont think he needs to do a lot of modding to get it in, but we didnt install it the way he wants to install it. He wants to install those headlights "as is". What we did was a bit diff, we removed the projectors and retorfitted a set of valeo projectors in there. The wiring is different, so I can exactly give any pointers.

It shouldnt be too difficult, no facny wiring should be required. Just a 12v going in one end and a ground out the other end. You just have to match which one does which. I cant point out which one is which since im not there looking at it, but try posting a new thread on it. Ive seen a few people who have them installed.

Thats the thing man, I dont have and directions. Not for the headlights you got, what we did was completley diff. All I did was get the HID's up & running. George did the rest. If you post a new thread asking about the install on these, im sure some1 will give you an answer but I dont personally have that answer. If I did, you'd already have it.

If I come across something, ill post.

I figured out the wiring set up for the lights, i just wanted to know if there harness out there that we can connect to the stock harness that come with the car... i mean the hid harness from the light assembley that connects to the hid connecter on the car...i am trying to not cut any harness and wire the lights, all is well except the negative wire . halo angel lights can be connected to the 5v clearence light connector..

I replaced the HID with Projectors I bought from ebay. I can't see good at night while driving even though I replaced and installed the 43000 k bulbs (h3). How do did you guys solve this problem? Does anyone know of really good H3 bulbs for the projectors? I know some guys are going too far with these headlights replacing the projectors and what not.
