[SIZE=7][COLOR=Black]Just changed the spark plugs and ignition coils myself after diagnosis (I'll note I'm a novice at mechanics), but prior to that my wife ran the car two or three times with the service engine light flashing for a minute before going back to steady. After new coils and plugs, the service engine light is now off and the car runs better, but stalling problem has not gone away. Engine repeatedly loses RPM's and shuts down after a few seconds when idling or in neutral after running for a short while. The problem has not yet occurred when starting cold. Any leads before I take it back to the dealer for more expense?[FONT=Arial]

Robert - I have the same problem right now. I just took mine to a local mech. and I got a "P0100 Mass or Volume Airflow" code. The symptoms are identical to yours. Looks like a new MAF is about $100 + a new filter. I'm going to do it myself and save the $$ for something else. I believe there is a TSB on that problem. I'm going to check now. I'll let ya know.

Check MAF, IAC motor/solenoid/whatever maximas have (idle air bypass in throttle body, lets air past throttle plate when throttle is fully closed) -- any codes stored in computer? Make sure all vacuum hoses and lines are connected and not leaking.

If it's a manual and stalls when you put it in neutral while driving, there's a few other .org members reporting the same thing, possibly a TSB on it.
