Purchasing Axxis brake pads?

Can someone recommend a place to buy Axxis brake pads for the 2000 Maxima, both front and rear? What kind of prices should I expect?

No group buy needed. These prices are open to anyone interested in them

Pricing is for a set of (4) Four (front+back) and would be as follows:

Axxis Ultimate Ceramics - $80 shipped
Axxis Metal Masters - $73 shipped

Are the ceramic much better than the metal masters? Anyone? Thanks.

the metal masters are more harsh on rotors and wear a lot faster, but dont fade as easier and have better stopping power. Deluxe pads arent as good if u do a lot of hard stopping and braking (ex track) as they will fade easier, but should be fine for average street use.

I'm definitely looking for a front pad that has high temperature tolerance (I believe Axxis' website has a set of comparisons which compare the performance of the different pads, and Metal Masters remained the most consistent among all of their line for high temperature operation)
The motivation is preventing rotor warpage, specifically pad material transfer. They will be used with 2k4 rotors for the BlehmCo BBK.

Ceramics produce much less noise and much less dust compared to their metal brotheren.

On a side note - I just put on Bendix semi-metallic titanium with the BlehmCo BBK (front only, still OEM on the rear til I have time to change them). Obviously can't speak for dust or lifespan, but after 20 mins of very hard driving and braking (to test the system) I can say they have very good bite and make no noise at all. got em at Advance auto parts $30 front and $18 rear. I will let you (sprilis) know how they work and we can compare notes with the BlehmCo setup with the different pads in 6 months....

Just re-use the shims that are on your OEM brake pads. They should fit on the new pads.

I think I threw out the shims from my old OEM pads when I put Raybestos QS pads on... umm... are shims REALLY necessary? What purpose do they serve?

They don't have the deal for the Metal Masters anymore; Jessica said they didn't get enough buyers on that deal...

She also said she couldn't find Metal Masters for the fronts on the 2K, but I did buy a set of rears for $45 shipped which should arrive in a week... she did have Ultimates for all 4's for $82 I think. I want Metal Masters on the fronts when I do the BlehmCo BBK to help prevent pad material transfer. So I'm still stuck looking for a place to buy the fronts.
