Just ordered 19's...Offset question

This morning I ordered my long awaited 19's and chose to buy them from www.forperformance.com. There service people are really friendly and they're an authorized Axis dealer. I chose to go with them because the wheels I want aren't available yet, and they are able to get them the quickest.

Now the guy I spoke to said they come in both a 30mm and 35mm offset. I'm getting 19x8.5" wheels and plan on running Progress springs. Now would I be able to use a 30mm offset wheel or would I have rubbing issues? I'd prefer to push the wheels out as much as possible, but want to avoid rubbing.

Here's what they look like. I ordered the silver ones:

I have the hagens at 35mm They are 19x8's I am going to put rear 5mm spacers on to bring it to 30mm. I think Kloogy's are 8.5 wide ask him. BTW those wheels are going look sweet.

I would stick to 35mm offset with an 8.5" wide wheel. Those are sick looking wheels Axis owns all!

I'm getting the silver finish. The silver gives it that really big look.

Kloogy, I'm dying to get these installed, also goes for the MaxxTuning lip and stillen rear skirt.

Nice choice in wheels. They remind me of BMW Breyton wheels.

They wont ship for another 2 weeks because Axis is still shipping a whole container load to them. They just recently started taking pre-orders so I jumped on it.

As for weight, I dont know what they weigh, but the Axis Milano's which look very close to these are only 24lbs in 19".

TEE , get 19's you WILL NOT regret it ! I was shooting for 18's , but my friend always told me (cwally) get one size bigger than what you want...there is a considerable increase in price...but its worth it !

do the 19s make the max look "tank-like"?? i like the slammed look & was thinkin i should go w/ 18s. will there be a considerable gap if i get 18s??

Nathan: I'm running 19x8 Axis w/35mm offset. I'm pretty damn sure you coudl fit 30mm, and it would look better. With 5mm spacers in the back, it's basically 30mm back there, and it's fine.

Go 30MM if you have the option.

btw: those rims look good...especially the gold one

Rims were $1500US shipped to Toronto. With some creative shipping I'll hopefully pay little duties/brokerage on them.

Tires I bought off ebay for $660US shipped.

So change to the 30mm ones asap! Trust me, it will look so much better if you like the wider look.
