relocated O2 sensors...

relocated O2 sensors...

after i installed hotshot headers and got an ses light...now the light is goneand car actually sounds quiter and runs smoother. just some info i wanted to let out

This must mean that not having any catalytic converters on your car will not throw a cel. Interesting.....

the headers do not remove the main cat unless you do that seperately. i am pretty sure with an 02, both precats are removed. i see he had a cm straight pipe that removed his cat but there are no o2 sensors behind the main cat so it would not trip the cel. harbone2k2, do you have any pics of the relocation? i am having the hs headers installed sometime in the next few weeks and just wanted an idea of how others have relocated the o2 sensors.

Since the pre-cats are gone, wouldent you relocate the O2s behind the main cat/ in the B-pipe?

Yes, if you have one.

I have my rear o2's unplugged right now and am getting a light. However I have an o2 simulator just have to hook it up. This one will work for 2 sensors.

alright, thanks for the heads up. that should keep me from having to redo anything.

it took about 2 1/2 weeks for the light to go out
