I have a high powered system and my amps are power hung, where can I get a upgraded alt. for my car and how much would it cost?

 

i have read that changing the UDP from stock to SC helps if the system is putting out more than 600W. that will free-up 4-5 hp. i think you can get them for $260.00. have you thought to add an optima battery in the trunk??

 

What is a UDP and SC? And I heard if you get a Optima battery in the trunk I'll need one under the hood as well.
