MAF question
After reading many posts about hesitation, under 4k, I have decided to replace the MAF. Also the bottom right corner is cracked from over-tightening.
Will i need to reset the ECU??
thx

It has been several months with the new MAF and thanks to the great sound and feel of the Frankencar the car experiences WOT quite often and runs like a champ every time.

So, until that moment I didn't have any performance issues with the stock MAF. I replaced it with one DAVEB sent me over night and the car ran just as well as it did before the failure.

Ahhh nutz... Ima bonehead sloppymax. I didn't look to see who made the post... I thought it came from dba again.

i had some misfiring probs when i installed the iridium ix's. i switched back to the old plugs and the misfiring stopped. it hesitates a little around 4K. i am going the maf route since it already needs replaced. if that doesn't fix the prob, coils will be next
someone else here had the same prob. no SES light and hesitation issues. he changed the maf and it drives fine now...
btw SES came on last night. i am taking her to autozone this eve...
