Well, got the new ballast and ring to replace the one I broke. Glad to say the rings are back up and looking bright as ever. Man, I still love these things.

I drilled a hole under the dust cap to route the wires to avoid worries of cutting the wires down the road. I also extended the wiring from the rings to avoid pulling the wires on the rings by accident (which is how I broke a ring last week when removing the ballast).

Here's the new wiring setup:

very nicely done! I also drilled holes in my headlights for the wires.

Thanks. I've only done my driver's side so far since I've had no issues with the passenger's side yet...but I won't be surprised if I end up having to drill it out too. So did you drill yours in the same spot? What size hole? I went 3/16" and it's so tight the last wire would barely fit.

i dont remember the size but I silicolned and taped right after.
