Yo guys what up. So check it, I take my 2000 Max GLE to the Goodyear dealer just to have a new battery installed, and to check my idle.. (My idle was sitting at about 400-500 rpm even when the engine was warm). So they say that the fuel injector needs to be clean. so they clean it (along with the fuel lines) and i pick up my car, and the idle now sits at about 1000. Now when i got home (about a 2 mile trip) the Service Engine Soon light pops on and im like what the ****. So i turn off the car, turn it back on, its still there. So i take a spin around the block. Now when i start braking near the stop sign, my car slowly jerks forward... This happens about two times before i come to a complete stop. Now im really ****ed because i was supposed to take the max to a car meet up here in Schaumburg,IL. Now i have about 74k miles on the car, and about 1200 miles on the tranny (got it replaced at 73k). I have an extended warranty up till 100,000 miles. Should i go back to goodyear to tell them to check it again, or should i go to the stealer for this? Since i have the extended warranty i shouldn't have to pay the 96 dollar diagnostic fee, right? Please i would appreciate anyone's help. thanks in advance

Go to advance auto or one of the parts stores that will pull the code for free. Sounds like it may be an ignition coil problem.
