I'm driving a loaner 2K4 Lexus RX330 while they have my beater (92 ES300) in the shop. It looks to me like the autodim mirror in the Lexus (w/ Compass) is just like the autodim/compass mirror I see in some Maxima's , but sadly not my 2K2. Anybody else noticed this, or better yet, tried it out? I know virtually none of the manufacturers make these bits and pieces for themselves, so I guess it's possible that Toyota and Nissan are buying the same mirror.

 

I guess so. I think the GX 470 has it.

 

yeah, there all over ebay. i THINK gentex makes them? do a search, i may be wrong. lots of them on ebay though, and you can do a pretty easy switch, you'll have to do some wiring for the compass, but shouldnt be anything TOO hard

I don't have search capability. I'd love to, would pay and all, but they are not taking donations right now. Anyone remember the thread?

 

My wifes Murano has it, but its no big deal. Not sure it would be worth getting and going through the trouble of an install, IMO.

 

Or you could get one here, any combo. Even have one with map lights.
