65K and it's selling above book value? Chill, dude. Either bring the car down to about 14.5-15, or buy an 02/03 SE.

That's a nice one but considering the miles for a 01' seem like kind of high. I got mine brand new and I have 31k miles to this date. So it's probably highway miles, who knows. I would have it carfax to check how many owners on that Max.

Definitely work them down. I bought a car from Haye's several years ago. They will take you for a ride if you let them. I read somewhere that a good way to gauge how much you should pay is to get a number between the retail value and the trade-in value - usually start on the low end just a little above trade-in and work from there.

Also, it would help to go in with pre-arranged financing. That way you can make them an offer with cash in hand so to speak. Let them know you've been shopping around and are ready to do business today if they can get you in the car for the right price.

I would try to get it for less than $15k. Lower the better

Like others have said...that price is too high IMO. Especially since you could get yourself a used 2k2/2k3 with the 3.5L engine and HIDs and install pretty much all of the other AE features yourself such as the door sills, pedals, shifter.

yeah the price is too high but it's a nice ride. VQ's will go strong well into 200k miles and u can always swap out the motor later. best of luck

anything less than $14k is going into the se/gle/gxe categories around here in CA.

gxe= $10-12k
gle/se= $12-14k

damn man im jealous. prices up hear in mass are expensive. dealers now that AE's are rare and never drop prices. i picked mine up last april with 29K miles for jus bout 22Gs. gotta say tho it was absolutely ppppppppperfect condition. i did sum research too and realized that 20G to 22G was average price for an AE with that mileage at the time so its cool. Good luck. hope u get it.

i got my 2002 6-speed max se fully load except navi with 12,500k miles for $20,000 on sat... $17k is kind of pricey for a lot more miles and less options... def try and get that price down.

other then that, the car looks sweet! AE's are great, i have always wanted one, i wish they made that model for the 2k2... (yeah i know 20th ana.)

good luck with it man, the car looks clean.

Go for it!

You'll love it.

Should last you to 200K miles.
