what is the deal with my Sub..
My stock bose system works fine, other than the sub. It doesnt seem to hit at
all and jsut seems like its turned off or somthing. It used to vibrate the hell out
of the cover. now i got nothin. Does anyone know how to fix this? or have the
same problem?

If it's putting out sound, but highly distorted, then it's likely blown and needs replaced. If it's putting out no sound at all, check the plug to make sure it's connected. If it's connected, the sub is likely blown. If it's just not hitting as hard but still sounds clean, are your seats up? They need to be. Is your bass on the headunit turned all the way down?

1. The sub is blown (most likely, especially if you listen to it at high volumes all the time)
2. The amp is faulty and no longer sending power to the sub.

the same happened to me 2 days ago (first occurence).
then it gradually fixed itself the next day. i also lost bass all throughout the car, all speakers. but other than the front ones, nothing was really making any sound, just faint vibrations if you really tried to feel them. the bass control on the stereo had no effect, but trebble, fade etc worked.
i thought i had snapped something since i had just finished working on some fuse panel behind the center console but then again, i never touched any stock wiring other than the cigarette lighter 12v. so i poked around the sub cables in the trunk, and came up with nothing.
then it fixed itself a few hours later. little by little since there was no drastic change at all. at one point i realized that i had my volume back. weird.
bose is a POS.
if it didn't look good in the double DIN slot i would have scrapped it long ago. damn aesthetics.
