20mm wheel spacers next to stock pics

Hey guys. I installed 20mm H&R wheel spacers the other day on the rear wheels. I've got 2 pics of it next to a stock 2k2. Mine of course is the grey. Take a look at the difference. I'm going to put up a how-to on this soon. Cullen here on the org helped out.

I'm assuming you are using longer studs?

You can buy these from www.optauto.com. Roughly 110 dollars. I actually bought mine from an org memeber. They do come with longer studs. Install time is about an hour per wheel. I'm gonna work on a write up next week and post it. i am on vacation starting after this post

If you guys want an easy install, go with the H&R 25mm spacers. They slip right on using the factory studs. Install is as fast as a tire change. I bought mine used for around $100. Now I just need to get rid of the front wheel G A P

dose it clear the fender ?So if someone got his car lowered he must mesure the gab.
and Just like VQ30DES
said(would doing just the back mess any alignment or balance or any stuff like that up?)

Other wise looks very good .I want one if it clear the fender, because i got 18's and wide low profile,I don't think it will work on my car.

Looks great Dave!

I need to check my clearance. 5mm would probably help me out. Not sure about 10mm clearance tho...

wait a second - Fezzik has 20mm spacers and had to put on longer lugs but HTown has 25mm and used the factory studs? That doesn't make much sense in my opinion....

I've some some spacers that included studs that were pre-attached.

pre-attached to what? Where do your OEM studs go to if there are other "pre-attached" studs on the spacers?

There are some spacers that have studs attached to the spacers and you bolt that right onto the hub.
http://www.hrsprings.com/
if you go to the web site, go to enter main site, then head to products, and then to wheel spacers. The picture there will show what Audtatious is talkin about. Hey Audtatious. I was told not to use those at all cause there were not hub centric spacers? I could be wrong.

I helped Dave(Fezzik) out on this one. The pictures do no justice to the subtle yet extreme improvement the spacers give. I was amazed. Just think about how weird an E46 BMW M3 would look with the wheels offset 20-30mm inward. That's how big, yet subtle of a change it is.
