Super Firewall, any way around it?

Hey guys,

Just spent the last 3 hours trying to find a way to bypass the firewall in our 5th gens. My 2 other friends and I have determined its probably easier to break out of prison than to get through this firewall!

I'm trying to get a 8 gage power wire through the firewall ... but I can't seem to find any holes or grommets for me to run the wire through.

Any of you successful or know of any ideas? Pictures would be GREATLY appreciated too.

Thanks,
Eric

hahahaah. It's sooo easy. All the max's 3-5gen (I haven't done it on a 1-2 or 6th yet) are pretty much the same. Do this, trace the hood release cable, the grommet there can easily take a 4gauge, 8 gauge is even easier.

I dont really have pics of it Take out the back portion (towards the cabin) of the wheel liner, it makes it alot easier .

Best part is there is no drilling needed

Good luck!
