I am getting my CF hood within the next couple weeks and want to know how many of you installed it yourself. I am getting it sent to my house instead of a shop since i have no way of getting the stock hood back to house.

I did mine myself; it was a VIS cf hood. Need two people to bolt to brackets. My bracket holes did not line up so I had to drill them out a little. Other than that the fit and finish is great and I am eventually going to install the hood pins.

i installed mine myself... lol....no one wanted to help me.... lol...but it's not hard...take off the wiring for the windshield washers first, then the struts that hold up the hood and unscrew the screws to the hood, take off the oem one, put the new one on, i used something to prop the front up, so i could line up the holes...and then screwed them in and installed the windshield washers and wiring....done.... thats a one man writeup... =)

what about hood pins how hard are they to do. By the way I got the VIS Invader.

HELP hood latch won't latch down. I can't tell if it need to go down or up. Each way I move it it doesn't work.
