I have looked everywhere online for a chrome grille for my 2000 maxima. There are a lot for early generation and later generation models but none for 2ks. If you know where to get a good chrome grille please help me out.

does the install require any cutting? can the oem grill be put back on?

 

On a 2k-2k1 the answer is almost always yes, there will be cutting involved and if you do cut you most likely won't be able to put the OEM grill back in very easily if at all. The reason being that the grill is part of the bumper on the 2k-2k1, it's not removable like the 2k2-2k3 one is. The only solution I've seen that didn't involve cutting was putting the Street Scenes grill over top of the OEM one, which looked good IMO.
