Intake idea - combine stock with WAI

The idea is, to combine an aftermarket intake with stock intake. After I installed the Berk intake, the stock air inlet remained. Since the engine doesnt suck the air through it, air only get in when you drive and then it sort of swishes around the engine compartment. Berk intake still sucks up the hot air coming from the engine. So I want to connect the stock air inlet to the intake, so the engine gets air from the stock inlet and from inside the engine.

I've seen other people extending the inlet pipe to the intake filter, but I wanna take it one step further so the air goes straight into the intake.

Lowe's or Home Depot

I was thinking the same thing!! I might go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy some Dryer Exhaust Tubing and run it from the stock air duct to my K&N filter. Or at least get it close so it can get a little cooler air from outside.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

This would make it more like a Ram Air Kit, That could really work and get some decent HP and Air into the Filter. I might try that!!!

I used to have the WAI's and had thought about it too. A friend of mine suggested to use a big plastic drinking bottle that housed the water to the stand. Cut it open and retro-fit the cone filter inside. Then connect a hose from the stock airscoop to the bottle neck opening.

It was an interesting idea...so try it if you want.
