Just installed my Berk intake myself after having it for a few months now. I got everything hooked up right with no ses light on, and that was a huge concern of mine because I'm so dependent on my car. Anyway I was wondering if anyone hears a sound like someone sucking air from a straw before it makes that monster growl. I don't know if it's a leak or just the way it's supposed to sound when it's sucking air. And if there is a leak how will I know and how can I check?

I always hear about people having the vacuum sound but I dont have it. The monster growl on my midpipe is there but it sounds alot like Chewbacca from star wars.

 

Well just as long as other people hear it and don't have a probelm I don't mind it that much. And that growl is so crazy it vibrates the panneling in my car. Now I have another thing vibrating my car other than my sub.

Yes, the intake is supposed to make a whistling sound.
