Hi,

I have noticed that the car heats up. Don't know if it is normal. I can even feel the heat coming during cool weather situations, after 10min of normal driving. (my legs heat up)
The temp. on the car gauge reads half way of the blue indicator.
When I stick my hand out while driving, I can feel the heat from the hood.

Can anybody confirm the situation
Normal/abnorma?

Thank you

My gauge never gets to the halfway mark. It's always (to the best of my knowledge) been underneath it be a few millimeters.

I can feel the heat coming from underneath my car when I open my door. I assume (and hope) this is normal...

oh no its' not

better have it checked out.. could be your cars are running lean.. heheeh nah it's normal, exhaust has heat, heat dissapates. and as far as your legs heating up. it's probably the vents letting air in. it's usually warm. happens when you don't leave the ac on recirculate before u turn it off. but your car does sound a bit abnormally hot.. not so sure tho.

Get it checked out. Check your coolant level in the resevoir and the radiator also. I have never seen the temp gauge even come close to getting to halfway on mine.

I've run in 115 degree weather with

all acc. on in bumper to bumper traffic (and flat out) and my temp never went above midway (actually a hair below)
