I'm thinking of getting one put on tomorrow. I heard that they are a quality product. Does anyone know if it sounds to ricey? I want one that doesn't scream like a blender. Please let me know. I also heard that they make stillens muffler also...

Magnaflow Muffler

I just purchased my Stainless Steel Magnaflow (Magnaflow part# 14803) from a local distributor for $168 including tax. The muffler looks killer with the twin 3" DTM tips. The construction is first class; you can't see the welds from the rear of the muffler.

As for the noise, I am planning on installing a Cattman y-pipe and the Magnaflow muffler only. It should give the car a good growl without any droning. If you were planning to install a new b-pipe I would recommend installing a resonator to reduce the noise.

My ride with the Magnaflow

Hey guys!!

I have been running a Magnaflow muffler for a little over 6 months now. I am running model #14832 but I am seriously considering switching to a model #14807. It is the same as mine but has dual 4 inch tips instead. The sound of the muffler is good, deeper than stock and has a very nice growl...not ricey at all.

Check out my simple little page for pics. I will say that it is a weld on system and the brackets they used to hang mine looks a little strange, but I love the way the muffler looks and sounds. I had my local muffler shop do the work and it cost a little over $250.

Check out my site...

The Magnaflow webpage can be found at the following link, too...

Also, if anyone knows where to get these mufflers for cheap, please let me know...

Peace!!
