re-ground MAF?

http://www.se-r.net/engine/maf_ground.html

My friend showed me this... he is an owner of a 99 SE-L SR20DE and said his car feels more responsive... anyone know if this will help us or if our MAF is grounded to the ECU? Thanks...

Not sure if it's necessary on ours. If you do this, you should also consider installing a hyperground kit to complete the effect

Its not just a Sentra thing. If you do the testing you will see that the ground is not very good and it will help.

What I was saying was that I couldn't feel the difference. That doesn't mean it doesn't work or you shouldn't do it.

I can't feel anything less than about 25 HP but that doesn't mean its not there or it doesn't help.

no i get ur point but im figuring that the maxima already has a decent ground for the maf unlike the sentra which i know had some grounding problems. Imma do it anyways though... just gotta find a multimeter.

I did this on my B13.

All I noticed was the idle smoothed out considerably, nothing else changed.

I think I measured 11mV before and 6mV after.
