if the tails already have bulbs, you don't need anything else. you just remove the 4 nuts, unplug the wiring and carefully pull out the old tail, it will take some force to get it out. good luck

Just so you know.... I did mine a month or so ago. I had new tail lights and I didnt use the silicon sealant that came with it. I've had rain, but not heavy rain...... no problem so far.

Definately buy the sealant. Also, when you remove the taillights, either do it on a very warm day after the lights have been sitting in the sun, or use a heat gun around the seals.
I tried prying the lights out w/o doing that on a 60 degree day and it took me forever, not to mention it destroyed my hands. Learn from my mistakes. hehe

i DID NOT buy new. i used the old sealant...and it has worked fine. it is really gooey...there will be plenty for you to reuse and squish it right back in place.

yea, there was plenty on the light still left. I was just too afraid of leaks, that I went over the seals where it seemed a little thin.

Thanks for the great feedback guys. I have another question: What type of sealant should I buy? Please be specific! Thanks so much!

Its called (permatex) Black silicone adhesive sealant #(16 B) [from another thread]

you can also just go to your local Nissan parts department and say "i need the black sticky stuff on the inside of the taillights"...they will know what you mean.
