Does anybody know where to purchase a belt tensioner device or gauge the tension of belts without a device?

I'm even looking for some basic belt tensioning guidance. I have noisy belts occasionally but no idea how to deal with it (belt dressing, no workie)

I'd rather do it myself, if I can, without the dealer.

just press down on the belt and measure the deflection. I think it should be 6-7 mm for the large belt and 2-3mm for the smaller power steering belt...

How do you tighten the tension the power steering belt?

There are three tensioners for the belts. One you can see if you open the hood and look down on the passenger side. It is readily accessible. The other two can be accessed by jacking the car up and removing the passenger side wheel and splash guard. There is a tensioner and a screw for the PS pump. You will need to adjust these.

Bringing this one back from the dead...

Has anybody ever taken pictures of the UDP installation and the belt changing? This is literally one of the few things I've never gone "do-it-yourself" with on any car I've owned. I'm a fairly mechanically inclined guy (have done all my other mods myself including springs, struts, intake, y-pipe). Am I going to figure this out? My biggest concern is the tightening of the new belts and tightening the bolt holding the pulley on (lacking an impact wrench).

I just took off my udp and found my power steering tensioner fluck up. I don't know why. Oh well. At least I got my SC put in.
