mine too... drivers side will tilt forward and back fine and recline as well, but no forward or backward motion... I am thinking it's a fuse somewhere, but not in one of the fuse boxes... I need to look up how it is wired in the FSM...

I had exactly same problem on my driverside power seat except mine did move forward and backward and didn't recline(tilt). I recently got fixed through dealer it wasn't anything big they said it's just the **** is broken. I had extended warrenty so dealer fixed under warrenty, dealer just replaced the little plastic **** on the side of the seat.

Your problem is different than the original poster. To activate the seat memory hold the set button down till it lights up then press either 1 or 2. To use either memory 1 or 2 you need to have the car in park (I have an MT and for that you have to have the parking brake on).

For the guys with the seat motor problem, my 02 ESM doesn't show a separate fuses for the recline and forward/backward. Sounds more like you have either a switch problem or a motor problem. Hope this helps.

crazy thing is that both the drivers and passenger seats are tilting but not sliding so I doubt it is the motor or the switch because the odds of both of them going out at the same time must be extremely slim.

This does sound more like the TSB issue.
