...upgraded your filter to a K&N? I was cleaning my filter off of my Injen and i come to realize its a pretty cheap filter in quality, etc. For you guys who have upgraded to a K&N , any diffrence in sound, performance, filtration?

I did mine last night for the first time. These things really hold water, and I spent about 15 minutes shaking, tilting, etc. to make sure it wasn't waterlogged before oiling. Light sprays will do, just get it that reddish color it had when new. If clean prior to oiling, it should be light pink/red in color. When K&N says let it sit for 20 minutes, they mean it.

what's the size of opening in the injen cold air intake? I wanted to get a K&N to replace what it comes with, but I never got a chance to measure it...or should I get the Apexi (is that right?)
