5th Gen Subwoofer, Part II

Ok, so I picked up my 2k2 this past weekend, and it doesn't have the Bose. No problem. Yes, it does have the cutout underneath (but no grill on top). Does anyone know what the dimensions are (I'm at work, car is at home)? Can I stick a 10" in there or would I need some creative Dremelling?

Does anyone with a separate enclosure want to trade package shelfs? I need one with the grill. Frost, please.

Its an 8 incher man. Apparently there are some 8" solo baric subs you can put in the oem's place... id bet with a dremel you could put a 10 in... you would have to be weary of rattle and dynamat the hell outta the whole back deck.

Well, I don't have the plate that holds the 8" factory sub. I figured the plate would add an inch or two. I would use some MDF as long as the hole can accomodate 10". I've never seen an actual Bose setup, but lemme think about it. Hmm.....I wonder if any of those Kicker square subs would fit. Problem is, I don't think those are free-air.

Oops,
I was going to post audiophile woofers (instead of the new sheer SPL subs) but got the wrong info. I'll reply when I get the right info.
