Finally, I got my 2002 se 6 speed babe, but it sounds that she is ill a bit.

Got some questions right away. She has 24000 on it.

Under acceleration she makes some knocking nose. But at higher RPMs it is gone.
Also, fast accelerations are knock free. The knock I am talking about is the same as when some one drives on low octane gas.
Also, I would like to check the knock sensor on her, do you know where it is located?

My father has 1997 Maxima and it does the same nose, but more then mine.

Besides knock sensor and low octane, what else could it be?
