Starter or Battery?

My car stalls on startup. In addition, when the car doesn't stall it acts like it's going to stall then something seems to grab it from not stalling and the rpms bounce back up to 500-800. Weird ****! Sometimes I have to hit the gas to get keep from stalling.

If your started was bad then it wouldn't start at all. If it starts then it's not your battery because it's needed to turn over the starter. If your battery was so weak as to not turn over your starter you would know it.

It could be anything. On my old car if it sat over night it wouldn't start in the morning because of a bad temp senser telling it that the engine was allready warm. Is it showing any codes?

Sounds like its your alternator, I would have it checked along with the battery.

You are right it can't be the starter or the battery. Hmmm I have no idea. Spark plugs, coils, pcv valve, and MAF are all new. I even did a fuel induction flush. I may need to clean my K&N panel filter.

Maybe the plugs are not tight enough or not spaced right.

That's a possibility however a nissan tech installed those along with the coils at 84k when the the coils went out. I know not all techs are good but the damn stock plats are pre-gapped from the factory.

New doesn't necessarily mean good.

Setting any codes?

You SURE all 6 new coils are good?
You SURE the new MAF is good?

Other things to check..hmm..idle air bypass..possible leak (vacuum or gasket) on the intake side of the MAF, letting unmetered air get into the engine...an accessory (ac compressor, alternator) locking up and putting too much load on the engine..

take it back to the tech and make them eat it.

No codes. The MAF is the new updated version. Vaccumm leak haven't thought of that I'll check that out. Maybe the tech didn't fasten the hose properly during the PCV Valve installation.
