Need help deciding on a muffler

I've got a '00 5 spd, with y-pipe and 2.5" all the way back into the stock muffler for now. Right now I've decided on the Magnaflow 14815. I don't have any pics, but it's pretty easy to find on magnaflow.com. I talked to a representative there and he said that the twin tipped muffler like this will drone/sound raspy with the y-pipe and catback. Has anyone had any issues with this at all? Should I just stick with a single tip for less noise? I prefer the look of the twin tip, but I guess I could settle for the single. Does anyone have any sound clips as well?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

which one would be better, the Magnaflow or the Ractive? I like the Ractive line and had in on my last car and it sounded great. I am also fighting on the tip. I like the OEM look of the GLe with the single fat oval tip but I am also torn between that and the dual 3" tip

tips dont change the noise...
since you have a 5sp.. the ideal muffler would be
Powertech pt1011 or pt1012
pt1012 the tips are 4.5 inch and pt1011 tips are 3.5 inch...
