OK i KNOW this has been beat to death. Just one simple question because a guy i met said he had a setup like this.

Bose headunit (2000 SE) with an aftermarker amp and subwoofer. Is it really possible?

 

i have the same set up. Get a PAC 10 adapter($40), sub amp ($125) and 8" sub($80). you'll be set. sub fits perfectly in the bose sub opening. mount the amp on the back of the rear seat(driver side). run a separate power wire from the battery.
