Where can I get this lense?
Does it come already cut? I want it precut because I don't have time to cut it myself.
If not, I'll just buy the one that Phil (K Pazzo 6) got. There's a link on his page.
Thanks guys!

Not tryin to be an a** studman...Home Depot doesn't sell plastic flood lights (I work in Electrical) Anything with a lens that resembles that one is going to be a light bulb (PAR Bulbs will do best, a PAR16 may even be a perfect fit :-?). Unless you go with a T type flood (the tube halogens) which will have a glass lense enclosing the bulb (they're all glass due to the emmense amount of heat generated by T hallogens')...but...cutting glass, especially in the manner you plan on doing it, will only lead to bloody fingers and much cussing (dremels like to cut in the opposite way that you want them too, and unless you know how to build a jig...) A piece of plexi or even a plastic lense from troffer lighting (the 2x2 or 2x4 flourecents used in dropped ceilings) might work...the plexi will be easier to work with. All in all, I think LithiuMax had the cheapest way as well as the best end result.

Studman, myself and many others have bought these plastic lights from Home Depot. I know there are 2 stores in my town and only 1 store carried them. They are made by Malibu and are found in the outside lighting area. A pic of mine:

BTW I ordered my DDE's today. Did you use a heat gun to open your headlights or did you put 'em in the oven? Just curious.
Also if you want to paint your headlights black like Phil did, I'll buy the paint!
That might take too long though. Hmmm..

housecor is correct. i used the oven as well. some ppl here have used the heat gun. too scary for me to use it though.
yea i have thought of painting them black as well.
housecor,
i am going to open them again. do you think i will need more of the grey sealant??

00MaxSE,
I've opened mine using housecors instructions. Initally i was very skeptical, but it works.
Just make sure you DON't put your oven to BROIL !..it should be set to "bake" so the bottom oven filament heats and not the top.

I do know home depot sells malibu, that was not in question. You are refering to a low voltage landscape light, I was thinking of regular motion/security floodlights.
I was just trying to help not critisize.
*this is a full time job that is flexible enough for me to go to college at the same time, so don't worry, i dont plan on keeping it :-p
