Need YOUR opinion on these Brembo rotors.

Whats up guys... I wanna get some new rotors. I came across these Brembo rotors on ebay.. I need opinions and suggestions. Is it good for its price? Should I get em? No?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

Thanks.

I’m thinking it's too much... they look cool, but I think they would not work well with stock calipers. Not enough rotor surface.

I made a mistake and I bought something like that from I-rotors...

If I would have to buy rotors again I would go with slotted only.

But it’s just me

So are you saying that the stock calipers might have problem with those rotors? Should I just get stock rotors then? I dont' wanna run into any problems.. i just wanna install the rotors and drive, i'd hate to mod them to fit.

I got brembro for my Accord a few week back. the downside with brembo it's rusting badly since I don't have garage for it and NY has been raining very other day. it would better if brembo croated the rotors zinc. the oem maxima didn't rust as much

i had the slotted/dimpled. once they warp, they can't be turned. at least i did not find any shop that was willing to. mine lasted 20,000 miles. i have brembo blanks now for about 5000 miles. so far they are doing good..

If you are going to replace the rotors I would suggest that you replace the pads too, your actual pads might no be even with the new rotors specially if the old one's are warp. I've been owning car for well over 20 years, and every time I replace rotors I replace pads that is my rule of thumb I never had a single incident in all those years, for me no economy can justify taking an unwanted risk.

Good luck

i just purchased 4 blank brembo rotors for $160 from automax_95 from the group deal. I picked them up last week, installing this weekend. I would go for blanks or slotted. I did some research and found that blanks will extend the life of the rotor and pads than slotted or drilled.

I'm no expert ....but i did a pretty good amount of research and came to that conclusion.

But if you race or need hard braking...i would go with slotted. They don't look as cool as drilled but get the job done more efficiently.

Thanks guys. I just thought about getting slotted and cross drilled because of its look actually. I don't race or anything. I do brake hard sometimes (NYC Traffic) other then that just regular driving. I think I will get Brembo blanks. Fusion let me know how it turns out after u install them.

I bought OEM brake pads for rear and front. Just waiting for my rotors to completely give in and pad to completly surface out. Then i'll just install the new rotors and pads.
