On 89-91's = Charcoal Grey and Burgundy
On 92-94's= Pearl White and That Emerald Green
On 95-96's= Goldish Color
On 97-99 Se's, Black looks great along with Sterling Mist.
On 00&01 Se's, Charcoal Grey and Sterling Mist and Black
On 02&03 Se's Artic White an that Blueish Color.

[edit: BTW, I saw a 2K3 Sheer Silver yesterday in a local dealer's lot. It's a great color -- might've liked that one if available in 2K2.]

And the Black Interior scheme on any 2000+ Max is unbeatable (especially at night under tints)...

Majestic Blue.....only available on the AE in 01...too bad Nissan put it on all models in 02. Tough to keep clean, but worth it. I get lots of complements...even from people who say that they are not wild about blue paint.

Polished Titanium without a doubt. It's the most unique of all Maxima colors (first year in production). I think Sterling Mist looks too cheap. Looked much beater on the 4th Gen. The Polished Titanium blends perfectly with the rear lights. Black looks good, but it's too much of a contrast between the body color and the rear lights.

when I first saw a sterling mist I 'bout lost it and I still love it; I also love the majestic blue and the royal blue on 4th gens!
