put hotshot headers on today
well i got the new headers on today a 12 hour job and the back header is not fitting right i am off 1/2 inch so no y pipe connection taking the car to the welder to have him weld a piece so it will fit i heard of fitment proplems but i thought u could at least connect it well car is really load now with just headers if this is happening to everyone with hotshot headers is there a way to complain thanx andrew

ok, let me start this by saying i've NEVER installed any exhaust peices on any car, EVER.
but can't you just go in and loosen ALL the bolts on the y-pipe and the header, and then you'll have a little more play, and then you might be able to match up the y-pipe to the header....
then you put the bolts through the fittings that aren't currenlty coming together (might still be a little off) but tighten these first...
then go and tighten the rest of the bolts...
The only problems I can think of would be stress on the components (from forcing them into fitment via tightening the loose bolts).
but hey, maybe this stuff won't give any at all...I have no clue, like I said, I've never done this...but it's just an idea.
