would a cone filter fit with just the stock tubing?
i remember one of my friends telling me he that he just put a filter on where the airbox use to be, without doing anything with the piping.

 

The factory airbox needs to come out. In addition to the cone filter, you'll need a midpipe like Frankencar's. I did that this past weekend when I installed by Injen. Damn, I never realized how much space the factory airbox takes.
