$1500

I have a 01 Maxima and $1500. Any suggestions on where I should put this money to get the most out of my car?

The list is endless my friend. It depends on where you are going with your car, looks or performance. From there you decide, its your car.

Probably with half of that money you can do a suspension upgrade; get new struts, springs, anti roll bar, and FSTB. Then on the rest of the money you can spend on tires/rims or engine mods.

I would say Intake, Header, and exhaust and underdrive pulley. Those are some of your simple bolt-ons. I would recommend to start there.

A good place to start is by reading all the stickies and faqs. You'll find a lot of answers to questions that you'll have there. Good luck and happy modding.

If you dont want to put it in the bank, then get some struts and springs (around $500), rsb with ltb (i think $300), clutch and fly ($600), STS and UDP ($100).

since when did installing headers become a "simple bolt on" ???
it is not fun at all to install that thing...long project. on top of that, there are really no high gains off of the headers, it is just the y-pipe that is attached is giving all the gains. headers is not a very cost effective mod, kind of the last thing to do when you have nothing else to mod.

for that money, and to focus on performance, then get an y-pipe, intake, udp, and exaust if you want sound. also do all regualr maintence. (plugs/oil..etc.) also, invest in some new tires/suspension mods, and if you have any left over, then some brakes. factory tires/brakes/suspension is really bad.

nitrous, nitrous, nitrous, and then some more nitrous. if you blow your motor after all that spray then you'll know for next time not to ask for out opinions. j/k.

for performance go with the basics, intake headers exhaust pulley ground the motor scheduled maintenance, short throw, the list is literally endless.

a 1500 investment? ehhh...

invest in fun and treat yourself to a new suspension, intake, rsb fstb etc...

Exhaust and headers maybe in the next round when u get another 1500. I'd probablly get some real nice coilovers, rsb fstb. You have just enoughf or that.
