Who's willing to spend $~5k+ for a 2k2 turbo?
I am having a shop here in atlanta that is do some work on my turbo 4th gen. I talked to them today about a turbo for a 2k2. After discussing some small issues and leaving the big issues on the side for now, they told me to make it cost effective for them and the customer, if they could get 3 people willing to pay for it, then they would seriously look at it.
So, I am asking who is serious about it?
I know quicksilver, he knows me. I bet if I asked him, I could use his car for a visual aid for the shop.
There is nothing but a discussion at this point. I hear people say this and say that, but I am trying to offer an option. I don't know what the turbo size would be, ,or the specs, or WHP. This is just a basic discussion.
He may want to do an emanage unit or nothing and add a return for the fuel.
There are MANY questions t be asked. I am looking for SERIOUS people. And if your local to atlanta, or willing to drive down for a few hours of R&D let me know.
And if you say $6k is too high or what about using these pipes I have in my basement for ~$3k, ,please don't respond. I am not saying it will be $6k. I am giving you my word this shop does good work and the price is fair.
And FYI, I will get nothing from any of this. If they sell 0 TURBOS or 200, ,I will be just like every other customer they have. I am happy with the work they have done on my car.
If I can help someone aviod the mistakes I made with the POS I dealt with, great.
