I was wondering does anybody know how to install a dual exhaust setup on the max? I went to couple muffler shops and they all tell me they cant. Theres a lil black box under the left side and i think thats the smog sensors but im not quite sure. Is it possible? And im not talking about just adding tips but a performance exhaust. Custom maxima has a dual set up but i really dont wanna spend all that money for it. I know it does decrease the low end power but i just luv the look. So i was wondering has anyone ever put on a dual set up and how? And if u guys did have u guys had any problems with the lil black box housing melting or so. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you cannot do true dual exhaust on our cars because of that black box (EVAP canister) and the spare tire well

some people have done the fake dual exhaust which is really just dual tips. split right before the muffler and ran a pipe in a sharp bend to the other side with another muffler. this version is for looks only and does nothing for performance.

and whats up with the nismo in your name? they make nothing for our cars. and a radiator cap doesnt count cause its no better then your stock one
