Clear HIDS anybody had problems?

I want to clear out my stock HIDS, but I scared to bake them, take apart, and mess up my lights. I was wondering if anybody has ever messed up their lights doing that procedure?

Just go slow, allow plenty of time and have patience.

watching the first light bake is the most intense part. after that, it's a breeze. the most important part is making sure you re-seal them tightly, i used a c-clamp to hold mine together after pulling them out the oven the second time.

use housr-cors how-2. you will be fine. it just looks scary. bake them, open them, clear them, re-bake them and use channel locks. you do not need to clamp them. i have done them twice, and no moisture problems at all.
