Got to my VIAS today, cup is still attached but loose. Applied JB weld this mourning, its still tacky, but planning to leave it alone til Monday.

Also, how do you check if the solenoid actually rotates the cup? Simply have someone hit 5K+ RPM in the car while watching the solenoid?

I checked it myself. I just aimed a flashlight at it with my left hand and reached over to the throttle and revved it with my right hand. You can see it pull itself inwards. It's not as snappy as my old SHO was. Those opened up alot quicker than the one on the Max does.

That worked for me too! Didn't need the flashlight, just watched it, daytime vs. night I guess. Mine snapped open quickly, didn't notice any sort of lag! But I never saw an SHO's open up as a comparison.
