Suddenly my vent fan is making a low hum. It's not particulary loud, but obviously louder than before. and loader when the fan is on high. Is this a common issue? easy to replace??

I have an i30 but I'm sure it's the same in the max..

i know 00 and 01 maximas have a TSB for this problem. they clean the blower motor out and put a plastic cover over it which blocks the sound

any link to the TSB?
think a dealer will still cover this for a 2000 maxima thats been off warranty for like 2 years?

I searched all the TSB's I could find last night to no avail. If anyone has it please let us know.

ohh my car makes that werid noise thru the vent as well. How do I go about doing this TSB? Just take the car to the dealership and tell them?
