I took detailed pics on the locations of ignition coils on a 2000 Max.

A fellow asked me to do this, so I thought i'd share them with everybody else. Perhaps somebody reading this was wondering how to change their coils. Everybody said it was simple, and this is proof. It really is as easy as we say. First you can disconnect the battery, but the rest is as simple as it appears here:

Engine Cover
Underneath engine cover
Rear coils

Jeebus, that's a REALLY early Max you have!! And a Fed spec on top of all...

Thanks for the pics, saved them just in case I ever need them. Hopefully not.

Go to autozone and get an engine cleaner.... 1.99+tax...... good pictures...
